Two years ago (December of 2007) I decided to attempt a fresh look at the music associated with Christmas and the Holiday season, not by re-recording the classics, but by giving my artists the opportunity to write new ones. To my surprise, I was elated to find that they rose to the occasion, not only re-interpreting the way we see and hear Christmas, but with a reverence for the classics. While the music on this recording definitely embraces the Yuletide spirit, it is also poignant and refreshingly honest.
